Crane service and lifts, with the operator included.

Adams sends the truck and a certified operator together. Most of what we lift is rooftop HVAC equipment for mechanical contractors, along with roof trusses and structural steel. Call with the weight and the address and we will tell you whether we can make the pick.

What we lift

If your job needs something set on a roof, over a building, or into a spot a forklift cannot reach, this is the call.

Rooftop HVAC unit on a roof curb

Rooftop HVAC units

Takedowns and resets for mechanical contractors. This is the majority of the lift work we do, and it is usually a same-day, few-hour job.

Prefabricated roof trusses

Roof trusses

Setting prefabricated trusses on new construction so the framing crew can keep moving.

Steel beam and columns

Structural steel

Beams, columns and joists set in place. We fabricate and erect structural steel ourselves, so the crew knows what it is holding.

Banded bundle of steel on dunnage

Material at the job site

Steel and equipment placed where it needs to go rather than dropped at the curb.

The trucks

Three knuckleboom cranes. The Palfinger carries the most weight, the Fassi F425A reaches the furthest with its jib fitted, and the two Fassi cranes cover the same working range as each other.

01

Call with the weight

What is being lifted, roughly what it weighs, and the job address. Those three answers tell us which truck to send.

02

Tell us the set-up

How close the truck can park to the pick, and whether there are wires, trees or a roof edge in the way.

03

We schedule the crew

The truck goes out with one or two of our operators. This is a crewed lift service, not bare equipment rental.

$225per hour

$225 per hour, port to port. No minimum charge.

The clock starts when the truck leaves our yard in McHenry and stops when it gets back, so there is no separate trip fee to add on. Most rooftop unit lifts run two to three hours start to finish.

Call with anything larger and we will quote it.
